Introduction
Casa Limone is a newly built and beautifully appointed apartment in the village of Torre San Giovanni, on Puglia’s western (Salento) coast. It has three spacious, air-conditioned double bedrooms (one with twin beds), and can sleep seven. There are two bathrooms, a large living room and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. The apartment has its own secure garage and plenty of private outdoor space for eating and relaxing. The beautiful white sand and rocky beaches of the Ionian Sea are just 100m away. The village’s excellent range of shops, bars and restaurants are a few minutes’ easy walk from the apartment, and Brindisi airport, to which budget airline Ryanair operates three flights per week from London Stansted, is one hour’s drive.

Casa Limone is our apartment in the seaside village of Torre San Giovanni on the south-western (salento) coast of Puglia.
The apartment, completed in 2007, has three spacious, air-conditioned bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen/living room, a huge terrace on three sides for dining and relaxing, and a secure garage.
It is one minute's walk to the beaches and crystal clear waters of the Ionian Sea and 10 minutes' level walk to the excellent range of restaurants, bars and shops.
This area of Puglia is called Salento. The nearest sizeable town to Torre San Giovanni is Ugento, a few kilometres inland, while the landmark city is historic Gallipoli, some 16kms north along the coast.
The nearest major city is the regional capital Lecce, regarded as one of the most beautiful in Italy, while the civil airport at Brindisi is about an hour's drive away.
Ryanair operate several low-cost flights per week to Brindisi (and Bari) from London Stansted,
Italians from further north descend on the region in huge numbers during the annual vacation months of July and August, but outside of this period it is quieter and has much to entice the British holidaymaker.
It offers a wide range of outdoor activities and relaxation - walking, cycling and horse riding, or sunbathing on the stunning beaches - as well as plenty of historic sights and a wide range of entertainment opportunities for all ages.
The Greek influence remains obvious to this day, rather as it does in Sicily. Lecce, the 'Florence of the South', bursts with Baroque; Avetrana has a medieval castle; and the historic port of Gallipoli has a spectacular harbour and a fascinating maze of narrow streets.
The local food and wine are superb and inexpensive and almost invariably organic. Everything is dictated by the seasons. Restaurants obtain their produce locally. The pace of life is slow, the food is delicious and the people are friendly and welcoming.
For an authentic taste of Italy that is far removed from the usual tourist destinations further north, Puglia offers something charming and utterly different - an unforgettable and unique experience.

Payments Accepted

Deposit, Taxes and Fees
Payment: Half the rental should be paid at the time of confirming the booking. This is not-refundable in the event of cancellation. The other half should be paid no later than one calendar month before the start of your stay.

Deposit: We also respectfully ask for a returnable deposit of £100 in advance to cover any breakages or damage. The balance will be refunded within two weeks of the end of your stay. Should accidental breakages occur, we suggest that you replace the item(s) like for like locally.

Occupants: The maximum number of occupants is seven. The apartment has two bathrooms, two double bedrooms and a third bedroom with two single beds. In addition, there is a large sofa-bed in the main bedroom.

Discounts: Guests booking for a second week will be entitled to a discount of 20% on the second week's rental. Guests booking for a third week will receive a discount of 30% on the third week's rental.

Included: The rental charge is inclusive of all services: gas, electricity and water. Bedding and towels (but not beach towels) are supplied.

Arrangements: Full information concerning key collection arrangements, contact details and instructions regarding the facilities at the apartment will be sent at least one week before the start of your stay, together with detailed directions to the property.

Please note: pets may not be brought and smoking is not permitted.
